Serving Death
You’re Out Of Time!
My name is Kyle…
And…I’m part of the Deathlier’s society we are a group among us we have the power to take what is most important to you…Your life.
I can kill you a single touch and your soul is realised from your body .I’ve dealt with this ability all my life the power the knowing at first no one believed me…in fact…no…I’m not going to tell you about my sorry little past I’m not here for sympathy.
I and two other people have powers a man named Thomas can track the souls trapped on earth he says that they leave trails…trails of colours by holding a personal item of that person a colour becomes brighter in till it leads him to his target. A girl name Debbie can tell when your going to die not how but when she says numbers flash in her mind she can point down your death to the matter of seconds.
“Where is he?” I grumble I’ve been up all day, “he is around” Thomas says he’s breathing slowly his eyes are blue and narrow he’s searching for our victim I rub my hands together “The Train station…He is there” Thomas says “What’s he” I begin “Red t-shirt got a lazy slouch running his ears on a item of sin” Thomas sighs “I pod?” I ask Thomas ignores me he’s getting off the train I grunt a replied and run to find the doomed figure.
I find him sitting on a bench sit by him I pull off a long leather glove revealing my hand its bone grey and old looking I grimace and touch the teenager’s arm he doesn’t notice but his faced becomes a large smile he looks up at the sky a wide smile spread on his face it was held for a few seconds then he stared at his I pod. I got up and looked around sighing I head towards the exit has I do there are screams my head whirls, a large Cat is bounding towards us the air warms and my hands crackle. The demon roars and toss a woman on to the train track lucky for her there was no train the large cat has scales and talons for feet I start backing away it’s charging towards me!
Pain I’m shouldered by the creature flying I crashed in to a wall incredibly I get back up, the creature lashes out at me as it does its talons rip into the teenagers face who hadn’t noticed this creature his face becomes a bloody pulp and he hits the floor blood sprays and covers me and the creature, I’m quick to duck the blow it’s hand smashing into the wall. I head to the stairs when I see Thomas he holds out a hand not wanting to come further I jump but the creature grabs my leg, I roar anger fills me it throws its talons scratching at my face I grab one and flames erupt from my skin I scream and blow my hands, as the monster wheels away I turn and run.
